Cathrine
F. Liste, 88, of Munster, Indiana passed away on April 23, 2003. Funeral
services were held on April 26, 2003 at the Solon-Pruzin Funeral Home
in Schererville, Indiana. Inurnment was in Pontiac at the South Side Cemetery
on May 17, 2003.
She was born on January 13, 1915 at Saunemin, Illinois, the daughter of
George and Kate Braun Mies. She married Rudolph F. Liste on July 27, 1940.
He preceded her in death. He was previously inurned in a military cemetery
in Florida, and his re-inurnment was in Pontiac on May 17, 2003.
She is survived by two daughters, Ann (Ron) Finn of South Bend, Indiana
and Susan (Michael) Kotora of Steger, Illinois; a granddaughter, Kate
Kotora; a sister, Dorothy (Ray) Attig of Pontiac; two sisters-in-law,
Marguerite Mies and Alice Rachel Mies, both of Pontiac. Her parents and
two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of Pontiac High School and the University of Illinois.
She was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority.
She resided in Indiana and later in Florida for twenty-five years before
returning to Hartsfield Village in Munster, Indiana.
