Karen retired as a secretary for the Special Education Department in Pontiac, District 429. Known as "Ferg", she absolutely loved her job, touching many lives of families in our community. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pontiac.

Ferg often bragged she was the best "hoe-er" on Timber Street! She amazed everyone with her "stripping" talent, entertaining many! She was well known for her rollerskating days, especially down the hallways of Central School! Regardless of where she went, she was approached by someone that knew her or remembered her from her days of working in the school system. Ferg's passions in life were spending time with her kids and grandkids, her Wednesday night Bob & Ringo's Crew and all of her special friendships. She was one of a kind with a great sense of humor, who had the biggest heart! She was fun loving and created memories, touching the hearts of many people, young and old. She had a zest for life and will be truly missed by all.
